Symphony

Symphony

ALGES Symphony brings lasting comfort and a composed architectural presence to theatres, auditoriums and performance spaces. Its upholstered seating, timber structure and controlled seat movement are designed to support both the audience experience and the practical demands of a busy venue.

Seating Designed Around Comfort and the Architecture

ALGES Symphony combines a substantial timber structure with an upholstered seat and back to create seating that feels comfortable in use while maintaining a strong, considered appearance across the auditorium. The integrated seat-tipping mechanism returns the seat neatly when unoccupied, helping keep circulation areas clear and the room visually ordered.

The seating is designed with practical installation and maintenance in mind. Its back connects securely to the standards through a tongue-and-groove system, while concealed floor fixing keeps visible hardware to a minimum. The construction also allows the seating to be assembled in three straightforward stages, supporting an efficient installation process.

With its combination of supportive upholstery, robust construction and adaptable detailing, Symphony gives architects and venue operators a seating solution that can sit comfortably within both contemporary and more traditional auditorium interiors.

Comfort That Works Hard for the Venue

Symphony is designed to make every seat feel considered while keeping the practical requirements of a performance space in view.

Comfortable, Supportive Seating

The upholstered seat and back are shaped around dedicated internal support systems to provide a comfortable and supportive experience for audiences during performances and events.

Smooth Seat Tipping

The self-lifting seat mechanism provides controlled movement as the seat returns to its upright position, helping maintain clear and orderly rows when seats are not occupied.

Strong Timber Presence

Timber standards and outer plywood panels give Symphony a substantial architectural character, allowing the seating to become an integrated part of the interior rather than simply a functional installation.

Clean, Concealed Installation

Concealed floor fixing reduces visible hardware around the base of the seating, creating a cleaner and more refined appearance across the auditorium.

Easier Upholstery Maintenance

The seat and back covers can be removed and re-upholstered, making it easier to maintain the appearance of the seating over its service life.

Built for Repeated Use

The construction is designed for the demands of busy audience environments, with a robust internal structure and seat mechanism developed for regular operation.

Practical Installation

Symphony uses a three-stage assembly process, allowing the floor-fixed standards, backs and tipping seats to be installed in a clear sequence.
